The Toshiba Classic PGA Champions Tour golf tournament benefitting Hoag will be celebrating Military Appreciation Day on Saturday March 10, 2018 at the Newport Beach Country Club.

All active, reserve, retired and former military members and up to three guests will be honored with complimentary admission to the Saturday round of the Toshiba Classic, along with food and beverage vouchers to thank them for their service to our country. Hoag Charity Sports will also be making donations to local military charities and families.

On Saturday morning (9:15am-9:45am) prior to the Champions Tour players’ initial tee time, there will an Opening Ceremony on the 1st tee honoring, celebrating and welcoming all military service members in attendance. The festivities will include a color guard flag presentation, a salute to our country and a flyover by General William Lyon’s C-47 “Willa Dean.” Later in the morning (10:30am-11:30am) there will be a ceremony on the 17th green to present checks to the military charities and families and to honor those who served in our armed forces.
